Vigorous wood work in this nature style aquascape gives the main hardscape good height in the tank. The hardscape structure is densely planted with epiphytes, covering connection points in the hardscape and giving volume to the main structure. As the plants mature, their leaves orientate to face the light direction, giving the aquascape a sense of naturalness. In tank designs where the substrate zone is hard to reach, sand beds are a good choice for easy maintenance.
